Hubli (Karnataka), Nov 3 (PTI) Busting a prostitution racket involving women mostly from West Bengal, police today arrested 27 people, including ten women and four managers of as many lodges, here. Nineteen mobile phones and Rs 19,500 in cash were seized from those arrested, Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner Dr Ramchandra Rao told PTI. Police was on the look out for the owners of the four lodges, Rao said. All the 27 were arrested under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, 1956. They were running the prostitution racket involving majority of the women hailing from West Bengal and various parts of the state, he said.
